Hi. I know I went away for a while, but I've got a few surprises up my sleeve.

Samantha Temple: Betrayal: Teaser 2

He takes my silence as a yes because he closes the distance between us and kisses me. As soon as our lips touch, there is this spark of light that comes with a shock. He immediately jumps back and slaps his hand over his mouth.

From the look in his eyes, I know that he is both shocked and hurt. This makes me smirk at first, but then I gasp at the warm feeling that is left on my lips. I raise my hand to my lips and feel the warmth seep into my fingertips.

When I glance back at him, he is stepping back away from me. His eyes have widened, and his mouth is hanging open. I frown at the expression on his face.

“What,” I ask.

“You’re glowing,” a voice sounds behind me.

I look up into his eyes, caught by surprise. He doesn’t blink as I study his expression. I quickly glance at his mouth and down to the floor. I try to hide the excitement building in my chest as the thought of his lips touching mine crosses my mind.  

 Taking a deep breath, I stand on my tiptoes and give him a quick peck on his lips. What I thought would be just a peck turns into something else as his hands capture my head, holding me in place. The kiss deepens, and I don’t seem to mind as I wrap arms around his waist. Warmth spreads through me. It starts in my chest, and it goes down to my toes.

It is taking the longest time writing Betrayal. I just want to make sure everything makes since.

Writer's Block

The ideas are there, but there is this gap between my thoughts and the paper. Hopefully, I get it together soon. Wish me luck for Book Three.
